Well I’m just tickled! Check out my new purse!

Isn’t it cute?! I love it. It has pockets on the inside and a snap closure. And it speaks to me. It really does. It says lovely things like, “Take me to Starbucks!” and “Look at all these colors and be happy!”
Where did I get such a marvelously hip and happening accessory?
I’m glad you asked! I had it custom made for yours truly by Carolina Rags! This stay-at-home mom does lovely work. Angie is definitely taking the Proverbs 31 woman thing to heart! And what makes her extra charming is she is also a new and talented blogger! Here’s a sweet sample from one of her early posts:
We can’t make our years go by any more slowly or control the circumstances, but we can choose our attitude toward those times and find the joy to be had right where we are…if we look for it! We can do fun things with our kids, they grow up so fast. Go to the park or ride bikes or play baseball with them, whatever. (What excuse are you gonna use when they are older when YOU want to go to the park and swing on the swing or go to the zoo or the circus? Do it now while they enjoy it too!) Rejoice in those sticky kisses and first words and moving up in school. Don’t look back years from now wishing you had! Give them that memory (joy) too!
I will say that from my experience I get more joy out of doing and giving joy to other people. When we are concerned about others and how we can bless them, then we are gonna receive that unquenchable joy. I know that I do!
You’ve just gotta go check out her purses and diaper bags. They are adorable and affordable! And of course, stop by her blog and say Hi!
important note: You won’t find duplicates of my uber-special coffee purse in her store. I bought the fabric myself and shipped it to her, so there! But you could of course, track down your own special fabric if the oh-so-fabulous purses she already has aren’t quite what you’re looking for.

Oh, aren’t you so sweet. Thanks for the compliment! I am so glad that you love your purses. Thanks for the plug too!
She said that it reminded her that she needed to check on you. I’m sure that you will be hearing from her soon. Have a blessed Friday! ~Hugs~
Oh by the way, I delivered the hug you sent to Ms. Susan yesterday at the last Women’s Life for this season.

Wow–I’m envious. Angie does great work! I bet a lot of ladies will be stopping you to ask where you got it. I know I would=)

…I would have expected your delightful homemade purse to use Scrabble fabric, not coffee, somehow.

I LOVE the fabric! Where o where did you find it? I haven’t seen it around in my neck of the woods.

Blest, Once a friend asked me just why I drink coffee. (She is a rather all natural kind of person) I tried to explain to her that it is about friendship and talking out problems and staring bleary-eyed across the table at your husband, but she just didn’t get it. Fernando Ortega compares his wife to a cup of coffee in one of his songs and while it doesn’t sould romatic, it really is.

Okay, that’s just too cute. I’m way impressed that she has this little cottage business going, too!
